Here is a link to the photo gallery from our wedding (more photos will be added, it takes a lot of time to do the selection and editing). A sample:
This weekend I have been behind my camera quite a few hours. I really, really wanted to get better at taking pictures of jewelry indoors. After having tried some 50 different camera settings, I know which ones work the best given the lighting conditions in my "studio" (i.e. our guest bedroom). I want to be able to take creative photos. The picture above is one that I am particularly pleased with. Will post more photos when I have processed them and selected the best ones!
Here is a picture of the photo studio I set up. The dresser is rather high, and I'm sort of short, so I have to stand on a chair in order to get the right angle.
Gah! All of my beading supplies are packed because we're moving next week. Obviously I now have an urgent desire to make jewelry. I can't keep myself from searching the web for inspiration, nor can I stay away from jewelry shops in town. So, inspiration flows all the time.
Today I found a link to yet another Swedish jewelry designer's website: Angela Gotborn. She uses mostly Swarovski crystals and pearls in her jewelry.
I'm also very anxious to take my photography skills to the next level. I found this website with jewelry photography tips, and my mind started working, not to mention my boyfriend's mind! However, I happen to have a white laundry basket (more like a container) that resembles the featured photo tent so maybe it will work...

Haven't really started packing yet, I've just gone through some of my things, deciding on what to get rid of. Eventually both my boyfriend and I needed some fresh air, and we went out, bringing the camera with us. Here is some of what I shot:
So, now I have a new hobby. Designing and making jewelry. Nothing fancy, of course, just a great way to work off some creative steam. I’m not going to write so much about it here. Instead, go look at the jewelry pages om my personal website.
